My career in the real estate business started many years ago.
I’ve been with Metropolitan Life in their property department for 10 years - being part of developing the Tyger Valley Shopping Centre, as well as various other buildings.
Then I managed different Shopping Centre’s – Look Alive Properties for 7 years.
In 1993 after a terrible ordeal I had to step out of the normal 9 – 5 office hour routine.
In 1993 I joined a successful Estate Agency in the northern suburbs. Within a very short period of time I became a successful agent in Kuilsriver. After 3 years in the residential market I opened my own estate agency, Marais Properties. Marais Properties is well known in Kuilsriver and surrounding.
During 2009 all agents working for Marais Properties successfully completed the new NQ level 4, estate agency course – this is an additional qualification for estate agents.
Which all estate agents must comply with as from 2012.

My motto in life is to serve people the way you want to be served. This include abide ethics like continuous training which enables us to be skilled in the real estate industry, for the latest trends and technology being loyal and provide a service that will be remembered.
